ATLANTA – Jackson Spalding, the Atlanta-based image creation, cultivation and communication firm, recently won two IABC Atlanta and four PRSA|GA industry awards, on behalf of clients Orkin Pest Control, The Gretsch Company, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Cumberland and North Fulton Community Improvement Districts (CID).
The IABC Flame Awards and PRSA|GA Phoenix awards were given to Jackson Spalding for a variety of projects, including integrated marketing, reputation brand management, events and observances, books and annual reports. Jackson Spalding also received three additional PRSA Certificates of Excellence, indicating projects that were close contenders for other top awards.
Two of the firm’s communications strategists, Bari Love and Carrie England, also earned individual recognition from the PRSA|GA chapter. Love was awarded the Radiant Star award, which recognizes an individual with more than 20 years of experience, and England won the Shining Star award, which recognizes an individual with six to 12 years of experience. In selecting these winners, the PRSA|GA chapter sought individuals who have demonstrated leadership, chapter involvement and community activities. This is the first year that the same firm has won two of the chapter awards the same year.
In another first, Jackson Spalding was named a finalist for the Forrester Groundswell Social Media Awards competition for its work on The Gretsch Company’s Next Gretsch Greats Unsigned Artist Competition. The agency created an online competition that attracted audio submissions from around the world as part of The Grestch Company’s 125th anniversary.
“We are extremely proud of this recent recognition,” said co-founder Bo Spalding. “Our primary goal is to exceed our clients’ expectations, but it is always a plus when our peers recognize our work as well.”
