ATLANTA (April 26, 2011) – Jackson Spalding has been named a top place to work twice in one week. The Holmes Report, an international trade publication that follows trends in public relations, named Jackson Spalding “The Best Small Agency to Work For” in the United States for 2011. More than 75 firms participated in the survey. Holmes defines small agencies as those with annual billings less than $10 million. Jackson Spalding is one of three firms being considered as the “Best Overall Agency” by The Holmes Report SABRE Awards in May.
Paul Holmes, editor of The Holmes Report, said, “The competition was tougher than ever this year – more participating firms and higher scores – so Jackson Spalding should be delighted that its employees think so highly of the firm.”
Jackson Spalding also was named by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as one of metro Atlanta’s “Top 100 Work Places” according to an employee survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics LLC.
More than 90 companies participated in the “Small Business” category for the Workplace Dynamics survey, but only the top 50 were selected to be profiled in a supplemental section of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on April 17 and at www.topworkplaces.com. The evaluation for the program is based upon feedback from an employee survey distributed earlier this year. Jackson Spalding was ranked 34 in the Top Small Business (Fewer than 124 employees) category.
“We are honored to be included in these prestigious rankings,” said Glen Jackson, the firm’s co-founder. “At Jackson Spalding, we take great pride in the positive, team-driven culture of our workplace. Nurturing and promoting our culture as we grow is very important to us.”
